Clare Perrott is a up and coming 19 year old indie singer songwriter from Perth, Western Australia. She incorporates a strong and fun mixture of all genres ranging from soft blues to indie folk to deliver meaningful and modern songs. Having major production influences from modern artist such as Phoebe Bridgers and Leith Ross, Perrott also reflects huge references to Cat Stevens through her raw story lyricism and intricate guitar work. However vocally Clare is powerfully driven by the 1970’s folk scene of Nick Drake, Paul McCartney and Joni Mitchell, showcasing honesty with a powerful twist. Only fresh on the scene, Perrott is currently working on new original music and currently is studying music at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA)
Clare has been privileged to perform her original music at the Perth Concert Hall as a featured soloist, debuted original music at the Rosemount Hotel, opened for local country band 'Hope River Road' as well as joining the Leederville Songwriters Club lineup. Perrott is also an accomplished bass player in the Western Australian scene, being a member of both the 'Maya Ixchell Band' and 'Amy Milburn Band'
